Become a Tattoo Artist
Train as a tattoo apprentice and acquire the experience and skills to become a professionally licensed tattoo artist in Missouri. We offer three courses that build on each other, with successful completion of the last course ending with a licensing and job placement.
Get in-person, hands-on learning courses inside of Alchemy Tattoo Collective under the mentorship of an experienced tattoo artist. Space is limited.
3 steps to get a tattoo license

1. Tattoo Foundations
Drawing and Design For Tattooing & Tattoo Shop Basics
3 months, 1 - 3 hour class per week
Prerequisite: None

2. Practical Tattooing Application
Tattoo Design, Application and Equipment
3 months, 2 - 3 hour classes per week
Prerequisite: Tattoo Portfolio

3. Tattoo Apprenticeship
Tattooing on live clients to earn a Missouri tattoo license. Earn income while you learn.
6 months, 5 days per week
Prerequisite: Tattoo Portfolio + Practical Tattooing Application
